Printed Circuit Board
- Types of PCBs
- RIGID PCB (R.P.C)
- FLEXIBLE PCB (F.P.C)
What is FPCB?
- FPCB, Flexible Printed Circuit Board
FPCB is a three-dimensional wiring circuit board designed in the form of a thin and bendable film that has excellent heat resistance, bending resistance, and chemical resistance, and is easy to assemble due to minimalchange in dimensions.
Need for FPCB
The use of FPCB blocks the possibility of breaking of existing PCB cables that can occur when moved several times due to poor flexibility, so it can be used in narrow and complicated spaces. In addition, unlike PCB, which requires shouldering by connecting wires and cables at multiple points, in turn reducing the work speed significantly, FPCB can act as a conductor with one or two shouldering.
Fields of Application
· FPCB is a core component that is essential for all areas where electronic components are used, such as mobile phones, automobiles, medical devices, and applications for the military and aerospace industry. Its range of use is very wide and its demand continues to grow.
